DOCUMENT LEGALIZATION IN THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF BRAZIL

In order to take effect in Brazil, a foreign document must be legalized by the Brazilian consular service.

LEGALIZATION OF CORPORATE DOCUMENTS

• Documents can only be legalized by the Consulate once the signature on the document is certified by a notary and authenticated by organs of the provincial government

• We provide with  Authentication and Document Legalization Service. Notarized and authenticated copies of your documents will be legalized in Brazilian Consulate

• For Authentication and Legalization of Corporate Documents - signatures on the Corporate papers must be certified by a notary.

• Residents of Ontario applying for Authentication and Legalization of Power Of Attorney have to provide us with the paper certified by a notary.

• Residents of Manitoba applying for Document Legalization Service have to provide with the documents certified by a Notary and Authenticated in Manitoba Finance Dept. of Consumer & Corporate Affairs Division 1034-405 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB, R3C 3L6 Tel: (204)945-2654.

LEGALIZATION OF ORIGINAL OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS

• For legalisation of school documents papers must be submitted on the original school letterhead, address and affixing the school authority's seal or official stamp.

• The area of jurisdiction includes the provinces of Ontario (except the National capital Region, Ottawa) and Manitoba and Territory of Nunavut.

• Original documents issued by organs of the Government of the Provinces of Ontario (except Ottawa) Manitoba and Nunavut Territory, such as birth and marriage certificates duly signed and stamped  do not need to be certified by notaries to be legalized in Brazilian Consulate.
