Document Legalization for Cuba

DOCUMENT LEGALIZATION IN THE CONSULATE GENERAL OF CUBA
Original Documents issued by organs of the Government of the Provinces in consulate jurisdiction* such as birth and marriage certificates duly signed and stamped do not need to be certified by notaries to be legalized in Cuban Consulate.
Corporate Documents can only be legalized by the Consulate once the signature on the document is certified by a notary and authenticated by organs of the provincial government.

Marriage in Cuba:
If you are planning to have a wedding in Cuba following are the document need to be legalized and translated :
- Birth Certificate
- Certificate of Single Status issued by the Mayor’s Office or effectuated before a Notary. The document must have been issued no longer than six months prior.
- Final Divorce Sentence (for divorced persons)
- Spouse’s Death Certificate (for widows or widowers) along with the marriage certificate
